How And What Procedures If I Am A Franchisor?

How should I get infor on the above mentioned as I needed help on that ,my company is not the Master Franchisor,and the Master is in UK,we are just a Malaysian Franchisor who is also looking for some franchisee who are interested and serious in Opening a business on their own!

Dear Ms Cyndi, for your information, in Malaysia, we have Franchise Act 1998, which clearly stated that a franchisor shall register his/her franchise system with the Registrar (ROF) before he/she can make an offer to sell franchise to any person. Fails to comply commits an offence. The procedure of registration you can get it from website www.mecd.gov.my or call 03-8880 5600.
In MFA we do organize a series of training programs such as Basic Franchising Course and Essential Franchise Training Program for Would Be Franchisor (KPF). By attending these 2 courses, I believe it will assist you to understand the franchise concept better as well as have some ideas on franchise industry in Malaysia. Please see the details in our "Upcoming Training". Thank you.

I thank you for the people who had response to my question on Franchising, and I am in the mist of preparing all the documents before we can really start inviting franchisee to come in . I have full confidence because our brand is a wellknown brand in UK and my boss is an experince business man; I have faith in our products and the back up services we will be offer because I myself had been working for subsidiaries of some internationl firm and list local company.
