IG,SPIKPA & FWCS is mandatory for every employer to apply/renew their foreign worker permit

What is IG ?
Foreign worker Insurance Guarantee is a guarantee required by Immigration Department under Regulation 21 of the Immigration Reguration from employers as a security deposit for the employment of foreignworkmen in various sectors for the circumstance :-
- Foreign worker involve with criminal activities.
- Employer is not able to send the worker back e.g. company with financial difficulty.
The duratrion of cover for insurance guarantee is the same as working permit period which are 12,18 or 26 months. Normaly Immigration Department will require 18 months.

Premium : Depend of Foreign worker Nationality, Duration of Coverage and Number of Workers .



***SPIKPA***
Hospitalization and surgical charges incurred by the foreign worker who possesses valid employment in the event hospital admission to a Non-corporatised Malaysian Government Hospital due to an accident or Illness
Benefit : Maximun Overall Annual Limit RM10,000.00
Annual Premium : 127.20 (Per worker)


***FWCS***
Foreign Workers Compensation Scheme provides the benefit to a foreign worker for injuries sustained due to accident which arises out of or in the course employment or if the death results from the accident and coverage according to the workmen's compensation Act 1952.
Benefit : Accidental Death /Permanent Disablement
- During working hour : RM25,000.00
- after working hour :23,000.00
Annual premium : RM76.02 (per worker)
