Working Location: Bandar Tun Razak - K.L
1) RESIDENT ENGINEER - C&S
Job Responsibility:
- Assist project manager in coordination between client, the contractor and other authorities and agencies.
- Review document or submission submitted by the contractor.
- Monitor contractor's work and ensures that the work carried out is in accordance to all specifications and requirements.
- Maintaining inspection report and identify any non-conformance works.
- Conducting audit on contractor's performance.
Carry out an assessment for the contractor monthly claim.
- To confirm and validate that the function of the equipment and systems provided under the project meet the design and design and contractual requirements and that the quality elements of construction works meet the performance specified under the contract.
- To monitor the contractor's overall works program for DIA Project and report on the status of works progress.
- Carry out periodic inspection, the safety audit of the workplace, process, plants and activities of the contractors in order to ensure all applicable requirements are being adhered and the highest standards of HSSE practice are being maintained.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and agencies on MSSE related matters.
- Carrying out of all other duties and responsibilities, that may be designated by the project manager.
2) PROJECT PLANNER
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and define project goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze project effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative tools.
- Recommend and implement modifications to improve effectiveness and attain project milestones.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of assigned projects to develop and implement procedures, processes, and systems.
- Educate employees in methods to ensure project continuity and completeness.
- Develop detailed task lists and work effort assessment.
- Prepare short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members.
- Oversee schedules and risk management plans and provide serious deviations warnings hindering project results.
- Identify changes in work scope in the project plan.
- Ensure to take appropriate planning measures with all clients to reassess, renegotiate and amend the scope of work responsibilities, proposals, contracts and budgets.
- Ensure to convey required project data and information to project teams.
- Prepare and present regular internal and external project reports for management.
- Evaluate and analyze with team risks and issues compromising project results and develop plans to mitigate them.
- Lead development of baseline schedule and support Project Manager (PM) in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR).
- Gather actual data, update a project schedule and develop reliable schedule forecast with support from the project team.
- Responsible for preparing a monthly report for clients.
- To participate in monthly progress
- To assist project team on all the schedule-related issues.
- Responsibility to do weekly and monthly updating to the schedule, and to access the overall site progress against plan.
- Responsibility to develop details works schedule from Engineering, Procurement, Construction until Commissioning, which includes cost and resource loading, to be submitted to Client for approval.
3) QAQC Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
- To liaise with Project Managers / Construction Managers & Departmental Heads on the implementation of site quality management procedures.
- To co-ordinate, audit and ensure all jobs are carried out in accordance to required specification, quality, safety standard, and effect the optimum speed construction.
- To responsible for the management and reporting on aspects related to Project Quality Assurance and parties.
- To monitor & identify the daily site quality problem, carry out inspection and quality system activities.
- To schedule, execute and evaluate project internal quality audit.
- To monitor and verify the implementation of suitable corrective and preventive action. To identify if new procedures are required to be written for other activities, outside the scope of existing procedures.
- To maintain and manage the insurance of quality management system documents, control of correspondence and technical documents.
- Able to perform such individual assignment as the Management may direct from time to time.
Requirements
.Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, C&S - Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
.Highly creative and self-motivated individual who are able to work independently with minimum supervision.
.Willing to work at Odd hours when being requested.
.Any other tasks as directed by the management.
.Preferably with experience 2 - 5 years in a related field.
.Required skill(s):
For RE - C&S: MS Word and Excel, AutoCad, MS Project etc.
For Project Planner: MS Word and Excel, MS Project & Primavera 5/6/7.
