8. Procedure
❖ Buyer issues LOI upon receiving SCO along with CIS. LOI must be made to OFFICE AMALAL-MAYLUD
AL-IRAQI FOR COMMERCIAL SERVICES and mention identity of all intermediaries.
❖ Seller issues a draft SPA (Sales and Purchase Agreement) to the buyer and both parties sign and return the
draft SPA to the seller after agreeing terms and conditions.
❖ Buyer's bank issues a MT705 swift message to Seller's bank. MT705 is a preadvice message and not an
operative credit instrument instrument.
❖ Buyer may site inspect in Jeddah for checking product quantity, official ownership and undisputed by others.
Invitations will be sent to the buyer and every expenses paid for by the Seller including transport to Djeddah
and accomodations.
❖ Buyer’s bank issues the IRLC AT SIGHT (called MT700) to seller as per contract after buyer's site inspection
and SGS review.
❖ Seller’s bank issues a Performance Bond 20% of shipping amount as guarantee for any failure by Seller to
comply with contract provisions.
❖ The seller starts process of registering purchase order for shipping.
