A Public Listed company with its subsidiary looking suitable candidates to fill all the following position.

We are running a project worth RM600 mil with our site office will move into a Hospital building for 30 years.

Site office provides allowances.

Position:
1) Safety Manager / Officer (Training provided)

Job Description:

.Assist ZMB Project team to cause the Project HSSE Policy to be translated into effective action throughout the work contract.
.Monitor the safety performance within ZMB, the consultant supervision team and the contractor and take such steps as may be necessary to improve the occupational safety, health, security and environment performance of ZMB.
.Periodically review the Project HSSE Policy and draft amendments to it when necessary.
.Advise ZMB?s Project Team Members on matters related HSSE policy and related procedures.
.Ensure the contractor is aware of their responsibilities to relevant legal and client?s requirements which affect them or the activities which they engaged.
.Promote on interest in an enthusiasm for occupational safety, health, security and environment matters throughout the project implementation.
.Carry out investigations, periodic inspection, safety audit of workplace, process, plants and activities of the contractors in order to ensure all applicable requirements are being adhered and the highest standards of HSSE practices are being maintained.
.Liaise with regulatory bodies and agencies such as DOSH, NIOSH, DOE and others on HSSE related matters.
To ensure that the contractor submits monthly environmental reports to ZMB and the client representative (HUKM).
.To ensure contractor engages an environmental consultant to carry out environmental auditing and prepare Environmental Management Plan (EMP) report monthly.
.To monitor the progress of works such as proposed arrangement for abatement and mitigation measures for environmental protection, environmental monitoring, testing program and reporting.
.To verify the contractor organization chart and responsibilities of personnel with regards to Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
.To monitor the implementation of general guideline for the EMP which includes;
.Disposal of biomass wastes abandoned building structures or debris
.Noise and traffic management
.Air quality management, water quality management, erosion and sedimentation, ecology, administration
.To ensure the quality of project area through monitoring the implementation of Monitoring Programme (MP) which includes water quality, air quality, noise quality, and socio environment.
.To liaise with respective parties such as government agencies, consultants, contractor and other parties in making the project area conducive for working environment.
.Candidate must possess at least a Certificate Of Safety & Health - DOSH.
.Min. 4 years to 5 years experienced.
.Training provided.
.Candidate with no DOSH certificate need not apply.

2) QA/QC Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

.To liaise with Project Managers / Construction Managers & Departmental Heads on the implementation of site quality management procedures.
.To co-ordinate, audit and ensure all jobs are carried out in accordance to required specification, quality, safety standard, and effect the optimum speed construction.
.To responsible for the management and reporting on aspects related to Project Quality Assurance and parties.
.To monitor & identify the daily site quality problem, carry out inspection and quality system activities.
.To schedule, execute and evaluate project internal quality audit.
.To monitor and verify the implementation of suitable corrective and preventive action. To identify if new procedures are required to be written for other activities, outside the scope of existing procedures.
.To maintain and manage the insurance of quality management system documents, control of correspondence and technical documents.
.Able to perform such individual assignment as the Management may direct from time to time.

3) Resident Engineer - C&S
Roles and Responsibilities:

.Coordination and liaison for pre-construction project works.
.Coordination with project team members on the review and audit design concepts, approach, assumptions, parameters from design consultants.
.Assist Project Manager in coordination between the Client, the consultants, the Contractor and any other Government Authorities and Agencies.
.Preparation of a periodic report on the progress status / progress of design review work.
.Carrying out all other duties and responsibilities that may be designated by Project Manager.
.Maintaining Inspection Report and non-conformance report for the respective work area.
.Conducting audit and monitoring works on Contractor?s performance.
.Preparation and maintaining daily site diary report on project team performance.
.Oversee and monitor all HSSE procedures are in compliance to the established standards.

4) Construction Manager
Job Description:

.Assisting Project Manager.
.Overall in charge of Site Organization and Management.
.Overall in charge of quality monitoring of works carried out and supervised by the Contractor and the consultants respectively.
.Assist in the implementation and maintaining of project quality assurance procedures.
.Consolidation of all information from various units under his control for tracking and monitoring purposes.
.Preparation of periodic reports on the status / program of the project undertaken.
.Carrying out of all other duties and responsibilities that may be designated by the Project Manager/Project Director.
.Ensuring that the PQP is maintained and in compliance across all areas of the project.
.Establishing and maintaining a system of corrective and preventive action.
.To ensure the effective and correct procedures are in place.
.Ensuring that the defined organization and responsibilities are up to date.
.Ensuring that timely and effective action is taken by appropriate staff to maintain the integrity of the PQP.
.Reporting to Project Manager

All Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or equivalent.

.Highly creative and self-motivated individual who are able to work independently with minimum supervision.
.Willing to work at Odd hours when being requested.
.Any other tasks as directed by the management.
.Computer knowledge will be an added advantage.
