JOB SUMMARY

The Head, Operations & Maintenance shall oversee the overall operations and maintenance of small hydro power plant. The incumbent must be a self- motivated individual with strong work ethics and technical competent.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. To oversee O&M of small hydro power plant, 2 x 1.1MW Pelton Turbine, Auxiliary Equipments and 11kV Transmission in Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor

2. To oversee the O&M of small hydro power plant, 2 x 2.75MW Pelton Turbine, Auxiliary Equipments and 33kV Transmission in Jeli, Kelantan

3. To liaise with local authority on licenses (Jabatan Hutan, Lembaga Urus Air Selangor, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, TNB and Pejabat Tanah)

4. To handle logistics and installation of small hydro turbines

5. To manage electrical engineering and mechanical engineering works

6. To inspect job site for any safety concerns or hazards

7. Keep immediate Director/Manager/Supervisor updated on issues that need urgent attention

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Tertiary education in engineering, preferably in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
2. Experience is a must! 2 to 5 years in managing the errands of a small hydro plant is recommended.
3. Valid Class D or B Driver's License.
4. Team oriented
5. Effective verbal and written communication skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
1. Bumiputera and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
2. Work extended hours if needed.
3. Ability to travel as needed
