Job Description:
Work independently for tender and post tender contract administration, typically for commercial office fit-out, lab fit-out, hospital & cleanroom.
Responsibilities:
Tender:
Liaise with consultant/client for all tender queries/clarifications and addendums.
Understand the tender drawings and specifications.
Take off the bill of quantity.
Brief and clarify for internal team and subcontractors.
Call quotations for all tender scopes/trades.
Compare supplier/subcon offer.
Collaborate with the Engineering Department for coordinated design efforts.
Generate quotation for Sales Team.
Submit Tender (BQ, list of long lead items and other documents required).
Follow up tender questionnaires, addendums and re-submissions, commercial negotiations and etc.
Post Tender:
Monitor budget control and projected cash flow.
Negotiate with suppliers/subcon for best price.
Submit progress claim and variation orders, till final account.
Assess and negotiate subcon VO, till final account.
Provide cost estimate to clients/consultant when requested.
Keep live communication with project team and purchaser during the whole construction process.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, or Engineering, or similar.
Min 3-5 years of experience in Construction, preferably in handling laboratory & offices projects for building construction industry.
Good command of English, both spoken and written.
Construction estimating or finance experienced is an advantage.
