JOB SUMMARY FOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER
The Software Engineer is part of an agile development team, building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the Microsoft .NET and Python.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain web and desktop¬ base business applications.
Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.
Ensuring proper project reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software are carried out.
Design, develop, and unit test modules/components/applications in accordance with established standards.
Participating in peer¬-reviews of solution designs and related code.
Package and support deployment of releases.
Developing, refining, and tuning integrations between applications.
Analysing and resolving technical and application problems
Adhering to high quality development principles and ensuring proper company processes are followed.
Ensuring timely delivery of assigned work.
EDUCATION:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years' experience in software development cycle and related field.
Requirements/ skills:
Solid Knowledge and skill in Microsoft .NET and Python is highly desirable.
Experience in mapping, navigation system software, ArcGIS or other GIS software technology is advantageous.
Good knowledge and exposure to CSS and JavaScript, AJAX.
Solid understanding of relational database design and querying concepts and familiarity with version control concepts.
Knowledge of client/ server application development, agile development methodologies, unit testing theory.
Good Database Knowledge in PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server.
SALARIES: RM 5000.00
