Kelebihan kayak ini walaupun terbalik ianya boleh digunakan sebagai peralatan menyelamat, memudahkan turun/naik kayak semasa di tengah laut, sungai dan tasik. Tidak merisaukan jika air memasuki ke dalam kayak.

Ia juga sesuai digunakan untuk meluncur ombak dan memancing di sungai, tasik dan lombong.
