REQUIREMENT
1. Degree in Finance / Accounting or part professional qualification in Accountancy (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/AIA)
2. Those with lower qualification but have more experience and fulfill all requirements will also be considered.
3. Good communication skill and able to converse effectively in English.
4. Mature and well organized, able to manage pressure and meet deadlines with accuracy in completing tasks.
5. Positive attitude and possess people skill to work with other departments and external parties
6. Able to work independently with supervision
7. At least 3 years of working experience in related field is required for this position, previous experience in construction industry is an added advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Keeping and maintaining full sets of accounts
2. Supervision and verification or subordinate's work
3. Timely submission of management reports, statutory financial statements and consolidated accounts
4. Monitor and placement of surplus cash into income generating short term deposits/investment
5. Liaising with auditors, tax agents, bank and other authorities, including preparation of necessary analysis, documents and reports.
