Project Manager
Requirements : -
1. Must possess any recognized Diploma or higher, and/or Project Management Professional
certification.
2. Have at least ten (10) years’ professional experience in Oil & Gas industry, with five
(5) years’ experience as a Project Manager in construction/maintenance/HUC projects.
3. Shall be thoroughly conversant with structural, piping, electrical and instrument
maintenance/projects at offshore platforms and onshore terminals.
4. Familiar with COMPANY safety and quality requirements.
5. Shall have some working knowledge in using Microsoft Project/Primavera P6 or
equivalent.
6. The Project Manager shall be responsible for the scope of work defined in the
CONTRACT. He shall be skilful and knowledgeable in contract management. The proposed candidate
shall liaise with the COMPANY on all matters pertaining to the
CONTRACT and shall ensure that the work is done in the most effective and safe manner. The
proposed candidate shall ensure that Malaysians are given priority in terms of employment in this
CONTRACT, offered job progression and are given opportunity to attend the relevant trainings.
7. The proposed candidate shall be conversant with COMPANY emergency response,
incident investigation procedures. His duties shall also include making frequent visits to worksites
and minor fabrication yard to ensure that operations are carried out in the safe & timely manner. He
shall be able to represent CONTRACTOR to lead incident investigations at worksites.
8. The proposed candidate is required to attend daily (unless specified otherwise)
operations meeting held in COMPANY’s premises and/or other venues arranged by
COMPANY.
9. Shall be able to read, write and speak English and Bahasa Melayu.
Planner
Requirements : -
1. Must possess any recognized Diploma or higher.
2. At least five (5) years’ experience in oil and gas industry with at least three (3) years
of experience as a Planner.
3. Familiar with COMPANY safety and quality requirements.
4. Has experience in planning methods, CPN and construction/maintenance manhour
estimations.
5. Must possess certificate of planning software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
or equivalent and must be well versed in use of planning tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft
Project or equivalent.
6. Possess working knowledge of onshore/offshore oil and gas production processes.
Project Engineer
Requirements : -
1. Must possess an Engineering degree (preferably in Mechanical or Civil) and must be
registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
2. Shall have at least five (5) years’ experience in oil & gas industry with at least three
(3) years’ experience as a Field/Project Engineer.
3. Familiar with COMPANY safety and quality requirements.
4. Experience in planning methods, CPN and construction/maintenance manhour
estimations.
5. Possess working knowledge of offshore oil and gas production processes.
6. Possess working knowledge of plant inspection and paint assessment procedures.
7. Preferably of Malaysian citizenship, but acceptable if regional personnel.
8. Preferably with at least 2 years’ experience in design office work.
9. The proposed candidate shall be conversant with PETRONAS Technical
Specifications & Standards.
10. Knowledge of computer project planning and scheduling tools such as Microsoft
Project/Primavera P6 would be an advantage.
11. The proposed candidate shall have a full understanding of project management
principles, e.g. planning, monitoring, reporting and control of cost, time and
resources and shall be able to prepare detailed plans for particular tasks under their control. The
proposed candidate shall be directly involved in providing coordination and supervision of the work
and responsible for interface management with the Client.
12. The proposed candidate shall be able to develop and compile construction workpack, preparing
jobcards which will reflect the CONTRACTOR’s norms and method statement.
13. The proposed candidate shall communicate with the construction team on a daily basis.
14. The proposed candidate shall provide technical input during the design, workpacking period and
during the execution period.
Electrical & Instrument Engineer
Requirements : -
1. Must possess a recognized Degree in Engineering related to Electrical and Instrument.
2. Have at least five (5) years working experience in oil and gas industry and at least three (3) years in
position.
3. The proposed candidate shall be responsible to provide pre-commisioning,
commissioning assistance, preservation and post commissioning work.
4. The proposed candidate shall develop project specific procedures and documents
related to electrical and/or instrumentation.
5. The proposed candidate shall support the creation of workpack by the Project
Engineers.
6. The proposed candidate shall support project group to develop pre-commissioning and
commissioning schedules.
Material Coordinator
Requirements : -
1. Must be able to work with computer assisted material inventory/control system.
2. Possess a working knowledge of material take-off from structural drawings and
piping isometrics.
3. Possess a working knowledge of different classes of piping and structural materials.
4. Fully conversant on the codes and standards of engineering materials.
5. Has previous experience in handling/storage of materials. |
