Dear Committee, I understand from the recent 'spike' in activity that something is going on and that the committee must be very busy getting organized for this mass police report. But please, PLEASE; what options do those who are overseas (and have no opportunity of returning soon) have? How do we make these reports? Can someone make these reports on our behalf? If so please do let me know and I will do my very best to send a representative. Thank you. Your prompt response is appreciated

Eugene, I agree (#820). There are pressing issues at hand and the Letter of Undertaking signing terms, conditions, etc can be dealt with later. I also have complete faith in the action plan. Just a little concerned with the response from Kc Lim 2. My understanding from response #819 is that the committee will do what it can to represent the majority, but not ALL - meaning for those who cannot meet the conditions, i.e be present to sign the Letter of Undertaking (or whatever it may be referred to in future), then too bad for them? They have to find they own way? I certainly hope is will not be the case. I quote from Paramjit's sms to Mr. Chan, "This is important as the settlement should include all Residents" - UNLESS of course certain residents choose to go their own way.

Eugene/Chan, Wanted to know if there has been an update regarding the following statements in the previous news release: "For this consolidation of our Justice4afr group, we will be calling a meeting for members to attend to sign an agreement." "Once this Agreement Signing session takes place and is over, Assetfirst residents who have not signed this agreement will NOT be able to join our group." I know the last posting about this indicated that a solution is still being worked on, but do realize there are some of us who will not be back in Malaysia/KL anytime soon, not for a year or more even, making personal attendance a huge problem for us. May I suggest that for those of us overseas, we sign the document, and have it notarized wherever we are located to further authenticate the legality of the document? Thank you & as always, a great thanks for your efforts and the committee's as a whole.

Eugene. I do not think the emails are going through. I strongly suggest the deadline be extended till this is rectified. Below is the message I, and I believe many, are receiving: Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently: forms@hotdealsgenie.com Technical details of permanent failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 "Unknown User" (state 14).

This is with reference to the recent posting of the Jan 15 email deadline for the legal appointment form. I am currently at a remote work location with very limited net access and no fax, print or scanning services. I will be able to on the 18th. Would like to ask for an extension to the deadline. Thank you

Eugene, Agree on your reasons for the halt in collecting emails until the committee decides. Thanks for the clarification. As for the legal appointment forms, would it be possible for us to submit/email them directly to the lawyers that have been appointed? The details requested, albeit brief, contain personal information which I'm sure many would prefer disclosed directly to the legal representatives. Many thanks for the committees efforts.

Eugene, I agree with Png Investor. Your initiative and drive in collecting everyone's contact info and keeping everyone updated is commended. But it has to be impartial. Your sudden decision to stop collecting emails as you cannot verify if they are Asset First members, etc and thus leave the rest of us that need non-forum updates in the dark is not right. How were you able to verify that all the emails you collected prior to this are all genuine AssetFirst members anyway? There are many of us who due various reasons are not able to attend the meetings, contribute as much, etc, but we are victims too and thus have necessity to access the updates you intend to send out via email just like anyone else. I hope you will reconsider. I understand it is no easy task, and once again, appreciate your efforts. But you've started the info collection & distribution and cannot abruptly stop, keeping info within those who were fortunate enough to send you their emails earlier.
