He formulated the company’s name by combining the Japanese word “GUMI”which means “TEAMWORK”with “ASLI” which in Malay means “ORIGINAL”. The name GUMI ASLI ELEKTRIKAL SDN. BHD. literally means “ORIGINAL TEAMWORK” Electrical Company. The company first started as a small electrical outfit with a Class III electrical licenses from 1983 until 1992, Gumi Asli acquired its Class I electrical licenses from PKK and Class (A) from JBE. | |
