PASTRY CHEF
Job Description :
* Prepare a wide variety of baked goods such as cakes, pastries, cookies, pies, bread, customise, etc including preparation, presentation and packaging
* Develop unique menu items
* Operate and manage the pastry section
* Managing stock inventories
* Time management skills to deliver orders on schedule and waste control
* To undertake ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
* Assist with the operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control.
* Support in the production of cakes, pastries, and other desserts
* Ensure Orders are made on time
* Ad Hoc Duty and able to work long hours
Job Requirement :
* Candidate with minimum 2 - 4 years working experience in French Pastry or related field.
* Able to handle stress well
* Innovative to create
* Responsible and dedicated
* Excellent cakes & pastry techniques and skills
* Excellent knowledge of pastry arts and ingredients
* Strong organizational, time management and leadership skills
* Capable of working in a fast-paced, high production environment
* Great attention to detail and creativity
* Able to work independently
Salary is open and negotiable
