Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the installation, configurations, troubleshooting and maintenance of network infrastructure and equipment.
* Ensure the stability and integrity of in-house network services.
* Planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) across the organization.
* Monitor the operation of the networks and systems to ensure proper utilization hardware and software.
* Troubleshoot and analyse the communications device.
* Provide support for configuring the communications device.
* Carry out site survey for wireless communications.
* Provide on and off field support for the IP CCTV, PA and Network switch.
* Any other duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time.
* Configure and install various network devices and services (e. g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, WPA).
* Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
* Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
* Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
* Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
* Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
* Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
Requirements:
* Minimum Degree in any IT Engineering related field.
* At least 5 years of working experience with relevant exposure in the designing, implementation and management of IT network infrastructure.
* Experience in managing Government ICT projects
* Proven hands-on network and system configuration experience.
* Highly motivated and able to work independently.
* Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal.
* Server/Virtualization certification or equivalent is an advantageous.
