An Administrative and Marketing Assistant provides both general office support and assistance with marketing efforts. They manage schedules, handle communication, and support the marketing team with tasks like content creation, event planning, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and handling travel arrangements.
- Answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing office supplies.
- Organizing files, creating correspondence, and preparing reports.
- Handling data entry, managing databases, and tracking important information.
Marketing Support:
- Assisting with the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Creating content for social media and marketing materials.
- Conducting market research and competitive analysis.
- Organizing and managing events, including logistics and promotional activities.
- Tracking and analyzing marketing data and metrics.
- Assisting with the management of digital marketing channels, including websites and email campaigns.
Skills and Qualities:
Organizational Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and keep track of deadlines.
Communication Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams, external vendors, and clients.
Software Proficiency:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM software, and other relevant tools.
Analytical Skills:
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Example Tasks:
- Drafting press releases and website updates.
- Managing social media accounts, including content creation and scheduling.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of email marketing campaigns.
- Conducting market research and analyzing competitor activities.
- Tracking and reporting on marketing campaign performance.
